A quiet neighborhood in Gaston is reeling from the tragic and sudden loss of Gabrielle Marie Cribb, 22, who died following a fatal stabbing early Friday morning, May 1, 2026.
According to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred around 3:20 a.m. at a residence in the 100 block of Marshall Road. Authorities report that Cribb was involved in an altercation inside the home when she sustained multiple stab wounds during the confrontation.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Cribb to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel made efforts to save her life. Despite those attempts, she was later pronounced dead.
