He also competed in roller hockey with Team Next, where he earned multiple national titles.
Pearce attended Huron High School before pursuing higher education in mechanical engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage. During his studies, he was involved in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and embraced life in Alaska, often spending time outdoors hiking and exploring the region with his dog.
